RALEIGH, NC – Cal Cunningham raised $1.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2019, bringing his total raised this cycle to $3.1 million, the most raised at this point in the cycle by any non-incumbent Democrat running for Senate. The campaign will also report $1.7 million on hand, “far outpacing what North Carolina’s last two Senate challengers raised in the same time period of their races” according to the Raleigh News and Observer.
“Our team continues to be overwhelmed by the support we’ve seen across North Carolina since launching this campaign, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” said Cal Cunningham. “As we travel the state, one thing is abundantly clear: the people of North Carolina are ready to elect new leadership, bring Thom Tillis home, and finally put this seat to work for them again.”
